Post your build
So yeah I thought it would be cool to see what kind of builds other people in the community have.

I'll start off;

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3.0 Ghz
GPU: HIS Radeon 6850
RAM: 2x2gb PNY DDR2 (1066mhz)
PSU: Ultra 650w atx
HDD: 500gb (don't really know anything else)

Used for gaming, and its pretty good at its job for the price.

RAM: 2GB DDR3
VGA: ASUS EAH5770 1GB GDDR5
PSU: 350W(Buying 650W soon)
HDD: 500GBs(buying 1TB after the PSU)
OS: 32bit Windows 7 Ultimate

That is all I know about my pc. I use it all for gaming. I run Cod7, BBC2, NFS Hot pursuit 3 and split second velocity all on full graphics.
fl0w. Logo Designer, PM me.
intel core i7 $250 for a decently cheap one
$250 nvidia ($500 already)
$100 for a 1tb hdd + $120-150 for a 2tb external ($720-750 so far)
hd monitor depending on size if you're planning on getting atleast a 23" think $220 - 250
the motherboard will cost you around $100 - 200 ($1040 - 1200 now)
600w power supply $30 - 60

unless you already have a computer case and a dvd drive you're looking at another $100 to $200 on top of that so all together you might be into it around $1170 to $1460 sk8r4life
You don't say?
definitely a good build, i'd still go with something better than a 5770 though if you can afford it
You don't say?
Yeah, I've got the 400 dollar broke ass special.

CPU: AMD Anthlon II X2 250 (Dual core) (3.00GHZ)
RAM: 4GB
MOB: Something small and shitty!
GPU: BUILT INTO THE MOB! Who needs real graphics cards?!?!
HDD: 300GB!!!!

I know how jealous you all are.

In all seriousness though, this build does everything I need, and if I wouldn't have gotten the monitor and speakers and EVERYTHING, would have cost me about $300. Sure I can't run most games at top graphics, but turning them down a bit hardly ruins the game. Learn.

My case cost me like 50 bucks, has four fans and even four of those shity blue LED's. My DVD drive was I think 30 bucks, but more likely it was 20.

No probably a good deal more. Go to newegg or tigerdirect and do a mock build.

Organisation of Awesome: Member.
my estimate was a rough idea of what most people would purchase lol. my case also cost me $50

it's a coolermaster elite 334 so it's nothing special but i added some green led strips to it.

the nvidia "claw" logo really lights up on the side now also added a green IDE cable for my dvd drive.

yes my computer is nvidia themed

also, if your computer does everything you need it to then it's all good. don't listen when people tell you "aww your computer is complete shit because it's not pushed to the MAX, TIME TO UPGRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!11"
