I think a minimum raise should be introduced as a rule for every seller, not only in auction.
Like the tc only rule the seller shoul state what a minimum raise for an item shold be.
I find this usefull and it will reduce useless posts and stupid ofers.

Minimum raise on non-aution selling threads? eh? EH? You don't bid on other selling threads, so there'd be no need to have that as a rule.

As for people placing offers, the seller should add minimum stuff in the initial post to lessen idiot offers.

We discussed it recently and we reached the conclusion that it's the thread owner's responsibility to set the appropriate settings. People are free to arrange whatever deals they wish to arrange outside of auctions.
