Toribash on Indie of the Year 2013!
Hi folks!
Toribash is participating in an annual "Indie of the Year" event by IndieDB and we need your support!

Update: We have successfully moved to the round 2, where the winners will be selected from the top 100 games!

To support Toribash, click on that big shiny image below and push the "Vote" button.

And don't forget to share with your friends and grandmoms so that they could vote too! ;)

All of the sudden we are #8 in popularity right now.
Let's maintain that for the next 9 days and we've almost won

The list or something?

No, there's unfortunately no list available until the end of round 1.

If we win (or get in the top ten) we'll have a chance to be published on Desura (and additional $1000 or $500, depending on the place).
well that list is not available but toribash is now the 19 in the 100 most popular games today in imdb
I think it is the same list

Actually, it's not the same as popularity rank counts page visits by unique users, whereas the "Indie of the Year" top consists of games with most votes.
So, for example, if everyone just follows the link and looks that Toribash on indiedb and just closes the page without voting, popularity rank will go higher but it won't make any effect on the IOTY event.
Okay, so there are only a few days left until the round 1 end, let's get everyone we know to vote.
So we have successfully moved to the round 2, where the winners are being selected from the top 100 games. Previous votes don't count here, so everyone is able to vote again.
UPD: link for voting is http://www.indiedb.com/events/2013-i...p100#vote26320 (you'll need to push the "Vote" button near the Toribash pic).

There's no way to predict that again this time, so we just have to get as many votes as possible. There are some projects among the top 100 that are unlikely to win as they don't meet some requirements, but still there are quite a lot other good games.
By the way, there's now a small lottery at our Facebook page made for this event: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Toribash/61341947104 (see the pinned wall post)

There are 5 more days and 13 hours left, we still have time to gather and vote Toribash to the first place o/
