Super's stuff
HI

A clan mate wanted me to make another replay thread to fish for some CnC.
I'll CnC back more often, I swear :<

HI

!SuperPower - Collab1.rpl ~ Pretty decent.
I liked everything except for the opener, and then the leg twitch whilst running over uke's lower half at 234

!Super - Coldsnap.rpl ~ I liked it, but i'm not sure how to CnC it.
I'm finding it difficult to realize what happening, maybe because you're to close to uke on your hits? I don't know.
Nice pose though.

I know how annoying it is not to recieve cnc, so I'll take a crack at it.

Collab1- I didn't like the first part of the opener. It looks kind of like you fell over. Then, after you push off your arm it gets interesting. I liked the kick a lot. It was nice and creative. I think you should have extended through to make it look better. Your foot just stopped. the next hit was nice. Quick and sudden, and it knocked Uke back a bit. From there, your only stutter was when you tripped up a bit over Uke, but it didn't really take away from the replay. I loved the decap. You kept with the flow and the hit was punishing. I did notice that the hand dm for the skeet was hacked (correct me if I'm wrong?) but I don't think it matters. People get picky over that kind of stuff, but it looked much nicer than raising your arm and grabbing your pecs. The skeet was really well done and worked awesomely with the replay. Bad ass pose. Great job.

Cold Snap- Not as good as the other one. The very beginning to the replay looked off balance, but it gave you the position you needed to be in. I didn't like the first hit because it wasn't so much a punch as it was a swing. The bifurcate was good, but the decap was more of a scoop (as if you were grabbing some ice cream) rather than a punch. You got a peck dm in the same hit which made it look like a sloppy bloody mess (good job on the damage though). The next kick was good, but not great. I liked how it got a dm though. The transition to the pose was swift and good, but I prefer more natural poses rather than extended pecs, and held elbows. It kind of made you look like a dancer. The pose was good either way, but not my type.

Very well done. You're doing great.

I really hope you don't mind, but I decided to edit the pose a bit. I mean, I liked it from the beginning anyway, but I like mine better. Just an example to show you what I mean.

coolin

ps yes the wrist dm is hacked

about coldsnap:
the limb phasing as you approach uke around 370 makes me cringe a little bit. i love the flow of the first 3 hits, even if they were a little sloppy. i think i would have let uke move a little further away after the split kick (rather than lifting up his upper body with your leg) since you ended up with a weird angle and had to use elbow/forearm to dm. it also looked a little messy that you literally had one of uke's arms resting on top of you

sloppiness aside, it was a good replay with good flow and an A+ pose (ignore skywhale)
Thanks for the constructive feedback, guys

@SuperPower: I was tempted to edit the twitches out, but in the end decided not to because I had gotten far before I noticed them.

@ColdSnap: You guys were right about Coldsnap being messy. I didn't know what to do after the split, and everything after it made me cringe. I wasn't even a fan of the split, but after spending so much time on it I just went with it. I decided to go back and edit the kick, and now I actually like it. I don't know why it was so hard for me to get a good kick. Once I'm done with the replay edit, it shouldn't be too messy.

@SkyWhale on the pose: To each their own As long as it was executed well, I'm satisfied.

CnC feels good!
