So I have an idea about tagging...
When someone asks a question on a thread they always have to refer back to it to check whether someone had replied. Although there is a 'subscribe thread' option it would be more convenient if you were able to tag someone else like '@<username>' It kind of works like instagram and you would receive 'tag notifications' in User CP or a separate tag like that.

Well I do have instagram. I think this can be a good idea, but let's say it worked like this. You go to User CP or you can go to your PM and then you will see the "Tag Nonifications". Then the message can be shown on the top of the Control Panel or Private Message. I love your idea! ~Supported
Like I said, the user could choose whether to turn tags on of off and if hey so choose to turn on they can choose a maximum number of tags in their 'tag inbox' or even have unlimited tags if they want. Like on the forums and the PMs you have to wait 1 minute to send a form again so maybe for tags they could extend it to 5 minutes.
