[ART] Painting for Studio Art Class
hi or something

i'm being pushed to make art by my art teacher (ridiculousness) and one of the classes recent projects is the "Sister City" contest

if i had the choice to, i wouldn't enter considering i don't like contesting much anymore but it's an assignment so i'm forced to make something

i took today off of work and turned a sketch into a painting and want to hear any possible input i can get. my teacher recommends that i work on the lighting around the moon and key and i plan to do so next time i have class. i also plan to fix that god-awful attempt at lighting on the key

i actually have a little faith in the possibility that someone on the forums can actually say something useful
you can be helpful or you can shitpost, do what you want really

really like the trees + the sky is pretty cool too
[19:59] <Lazors> man it's a good thing people don't see what i write here
The trees are indeed really nice. About the sky, it's pretty nice as well, but I would've liked more blending with the moon shine. I don't know, the hand looks a bit pretty weird. Other than that, I guess it's pretty okay.
i getcha

the blending on the moon i can do, but i'm going to have to figure out how to fix that hand
