joint color forge
i often find myself wishing that there were more joint colors in toribash, or that i had the option to select my own colors for my joints.

joint textures are insufficient to create custom colors (in the way that body textures can create custom gradients) because they shade both the relax and force colors—if, for example, i wanted a bright emerald force and a hot pink relax, this would be impossible.

this is my solution: the custom joint color forge.

the forge could work in the same way the flame forge does; it would create a single, unique, tradeable item

the only necessary variables on the ingame forge itself would be force/relax, rgb values, and whatever variable makes supernova different from vampire

as for the issue of pricing: i dont believe that there should be a qi restriction on the forge, but existing colors should be prohibited. the price should be in the 150-250k range imo, maybe more to compete with no-qi marketeers items
i addressed why joint textures are insufficient in the op.

i also addressed the market question: they would be handled the exact same way as flames

and yes, if you have a set designed to match a particular force and relax, it will not match if you change your force or relax..... not really sure why that is relevant
It's just going to end up being a cluster in the market of every single color code there is, but it could also be a way to sink tc. half supported/half unsupported.

I don't exist
I honestly think that they should be untradeable. I mean, what's to stop me from making a void force, and then subtract 1 unit from the RGB. There we go, now I have a colour so close to void that I can crash the market with it. Then there's the question of it being no QI. I mean, if every tom, dick, and harry can get themselves a close-enough-to-void/demon/pure etc item, then the current colours would be worthless for those who earn them (there would be no accomplishment, because whitebelts could wear something super close to what a custom belt could wear).

Basically, I love this concept, and I do agree that there should be a change to the way that some joints work so that you can edit the relax of a joint (because I also find it hard to play with joints, because it's hard to tell if it's held or relaxed), but I don't think that this will solve the problem.

I support this idea, but it's execution sounds like bad news bears.

Theres no point of this , If this was real It would mess up the game. We have alot of colors in the game , basically why do we need more? we have so many customizations and that Color forge would just mess it up.
