I would love open boarders if we all could just get along. Right now, open boarders wouldn't be the best idea with islamic extremists, and just about anyone that wishes to inflict damage on another individual or group. A state and/or country for that matter.
As an American, I will be speaking about my country mainly, rather than others.
1. Yes, everyone has freedom when within US boundaries, but, I don't think you're allowed full rights until you're a U.S. citizen. There needs to be heavier background checks and screening instead of just checking the terrorist watch list. "Oh your name isn't on there, you're free to go." That's how people get killed.
2. See, this is something im torn on. Yes, it's nice to help the less fortunate and letting them come to developed counties. But, do we really have to? I mean, can't we just go there, and help them? We already are, but it isn't enough. I dislike letting immigrants come and take jobs from those who were born here.
3. Im sure it would lead to a world wide growth in income. But it would just take jobs away from nation born citizens (as stated before). There needs to be an alternative.
