I don't even really know what I'm looking at. I basically just see a background colour with veeeeery faint airbrushing. Make darker marks, we can't tell anything from these wips.

made face a little bit more noticeable and added the strings to make it feel like a mask

i will need to use darker colors the opacity was at 100%

There's no way the opacity is at 100% when your brush looks like that.
Have you tried turning the layer opacity higher?

And watermark is like you draw the face.
