Influence of tubers in history
Hello guys, I'd like to talk about a serious subject. As many of you may already know, the influence of tubers in USA & Europe history is extensive and badly archived. The tubers that filled a big hole in our transition to the Modern Era (in Renaissance) were mainly potatoes, carrots, manioc and onions. I mean, how could poor terrain owners survive without these cheap foods? The masses had to survive to support the whole ideology being shared. In Brazil, a lot of the european immigrants had to eat polenta all the day to sustain their family! Polenta all the day! I'd like to know what do you think or if u have any info to share.
