had some music on while i was in bed and suddenly my laptop went quiet
volume mixer still shows the green bar that indicates sound being played and the sound is being played by the right speakers aswell
i've tried updating my drivers, deleting them and reinstalling them, enabling and disabling the speakers but nothing has worked so far

i tried plugging in my headphones and they still work fine so i've got no clue what's wrong
i'm using sound blaster recon3di btw

any ideas?

if the sound card is broken my headphones shouldn't be working right?

yea, also not going to open it because that voids the warranty

okay no clue what happened but it somehow fixed itself

nah, they're internal so there's no mute button and i checked everything there was to check

it still works though so i guess i'll close this thread
