I suggest this be fixed, as it's quite annoying when looking at Gold Relax/Force as it brings up both Gold, and Old Gold.
There may be some other things like this but yea.

The only way to get regular gold items by themselves is to max the QI at 500 which is a bit of just a small hassle/annoying

Now, something I thought would be interesting to have in the market/search function.
Some people, mostly new people, I think would find it better to have a "search color" type of option/function to show them the different items for the color group specified.

For example, I type in "blue forces" and search for only blue colored forces, etc.

I'd consider not being able to search "gold" and get results a bug

maybe make search by itemid a thing

If you search gold it should be gold

if you search old gold it should be old gold

doesn't seem that hard to do...

is putting 500 into the qi box really that much of a hassle? I think that's a little easier than adding an exception specifically for gold to how the market search works.

Or implement absolute search terms?

Search for: gold relax
Get: items with names containing the words gold and relax.

Search for: "gold relax"
Get: items with only an exact matching name.

How many people really know the QI difference from Old Gold and Gold?
Also, having something in place what Solax suggested I think would work.

only problem with absolute search that i see is trying to search items with special characters. (i.e. Jiyü dreads)

i know theres a way to type letters with accent marks but not everyone knows that/the numbers that go with each letter are hard to remember

This inconvinient is a small price to pay for not writing log painfull names like jyiu dread, jack'o lantern, and many more.
I wouldent go back to the old system for one.

Hurp durp, Solax was suggesting them adding quotations as an exact search term.
Basically in the coding it would state that if " " is present, then search for only what is found within the quotations. SO if you search for "Gold Relax" it would only look for items with Gold Relax in their name.

google.com has this same search function, as well as other search functions to narrow things down.
Say I wanted to search for the word search on Toribash forums, instead of typing in; Search toribash ,I would type; "search" site:forum.toribash.com and it would look for only the word "search" and only on forum.toribash.com giving you 20k results rather than 121k
