I would love it if you could make its tail a feature also, but we're perhaps pushed for space.

Yes I like the placement of the tails.

I think the head should be slightly larger to give it more of a focus, so I'll let you decide on what you do with that.

Edit: e.g. if you add a little length to the head, from top to bottom.

I like the expression on the face but you're right about it being offset - honestly if you just make the head slightly thinner and stretch it down a little that should fix it. I think I'm more talking about stretching the jaw/beak more than anything else.
