After he had the power to fight back, he noticed that it was still a problem with other Toris, he decided to forge the clan named Pound It Fam so his members could help pound the players who take advantage over the noobs."

This was the description of my first ever clan I was invited to and accepted. Thanks to Dankineer, Viamere, Pblo, Illuminati(original one), and more, I was force spectated many times during boxshu and mushu because I would do the dumbest possible things ever and not play well because I was new at the game, triggering Viamere and being cussed at while everyone was laughing because there was a time people tried even playing mushu as a spar (Im assuming thanks to wushu) so Dankineer and everyone else was on training duty for me and the many noobs that were joining the clan.

From this time I went the standard route, playing Judo, Aikido and it's variants, and a bunch of 4 fun variety mods that got me into the game, I really really liked playing Boxshu and Mushu, because it was the most enjoyable way for me to play the game. From the terrible matches I had in pendulum jumper because I didn't know cheese strats and lost tc to bets when my friends were rage baiting me to get into dueling or I'd never be better, to parkouring and xspar which I SUCKED AT A LOT back then and triggered Viamere and some of the other sparrers from WAR and NITRO and OBEY and some other clans that hung out with each other back then when clan activity was abundant.


In my mind I wanted to do what I saw in xspar and bring it to boxshu, mushu, and lenshu which was hard because I was very bad and had no idea how to play the game, which led to my coping mechanism of delving into the customization of the game to personify my Tori so I could play my dream character. This helped a lot because I liked customization (and I am indecisive x9000) and helped me focus on gameplay while I got to stare at something I felt like I had control over, outside of the gameplay.

Fast forward 7 almost 8 years 10 days from now I would eventually come back to the game, absolutely with no idea how to even play the game in any way, using my newfound maturity and levels of patience I accumulated adjusting to an adult life and decided to watch a bunch of archived videos thanks to BenDover's film collection and whoever was posting RPLS on the forums and the TB server. This led me to make mods, realize why certain mods play the way they do, and then break into boxshu again, which I love a ton still, Wushu, tk mods, xspar and mma, and much more.


This is gonna seem natural (because I'm indecisive) but I don't have a favorite mod, I realize that I just love the game now because I am understanding it more. Right now I just figured out how corks work and am getting better as I stay consistent.


If I were to thank those that got me into the game and to keep on going, the list would be massive. I am a talkative person and there's been so many people I have engaged with through my year of being a Toribash player. (I can't even believe it's been that long already.)
