i find these to be useless since 1. the tournaments usually stay empty anyways, or otherwise get filled up by people that are already playing, and 2. the notifications from them cause me to ignore atleast 50% of broadcast notifications coming through my phone since im usually assuming it's just a 6k judo tourney, resulting in missing some actual ES events or any other broadcasts for that matter

since this affects everyone with notifications on for the toribash discord, i thought a little poll to figure out if this is an isolated or shared sentiment would be pretty helpful


please vote against them if you'd like the notifications to be silenced / removed from the channel or vote for them if you like having them on!! feel free to share your thoughts below too

Yea I feel as though the in-game notifications for those tourneys are already more than enough, the people who would actually want to play them are probably already on the game and would see it. Most of the time they seem quite dead, if it's causing people to ignore broadcasts then they don't really seem worth keeping... Maybe being able to opt into a role that specifically pings on user-made global broadcasts might be an okay solution? Would keep them in the broadcast channel but also help people who don't care about them prioritise what they want

Auto tourneys will no longer broadcast to discord. The globals will still remain the same in-game
