[Art] Panda's Drawings/Artsy Stuff
Panda's Drawings/Artsy Stuff
About me:
I have always been into art and i have always found beauty in nearly every thing in life. Even blood, and death has its beauty in its own way. Sad things are sad, happy things are happy, cruel things are cruel, scary things are scary, etc. No matter how something makes you feel, to me it is all apart of art. Art is supposed to connect an emotion with the drawing, painting, etc. Without the emotion, how can you tell if you like or dislike something? You might not even dislike an artwork because it is horribly drawn, but because it may not appeal to the emotions you are comfortable to. That's how I feel about art.
I do mostly pencil drawings, however I can paint and use other forms of mediums. I am willing to do requested realistic pencil drawings depending on four circumstances.
1. Am I motivated to draw it. (do I like the idea of it)
2. Do I currently have the time to commit myself to the drawing.
3. Is the reference picture clear enough to make out details, etc.
4. Do I feel that I can successfully draw it.
I will respect any and all CnC as long as it actually adds something useful to how I can improve, or what I did correctly and why you think I did it correctly.
The middle image was created using a special paper that captured the negative space around the object (in this case, a flower) using the sunlight. I forget what the paper is called. From there, I drew an identicle shape on a different piece of paper by drawing the negative and positive spaces, rather than the actual object. Then, chose two generald colors and grabbed different shades of that color to collage together to fill in the negative space on one side, and positive space on the other.
I really wanted to choose a color that could distinguish a mood with the cat's pose. I felt that because the cat was laying its head down it was relaxing and calming. Maybe even sad. I felt that different shades of blue would be the best to make this emotion stick with the painting.
This took me about an hour and a good ten minutes or so of that was just to find a picture that was usable to reference off of...
I doodled my hand from just holding it in a pose, and doodling it. Took maybe about ten minutes and was there was no actual proportion check, etc... As it was done purely by sight and then being transferred to paper, so yes there are a few mistakes, etc.

Was a bit bored and decided to try and draw an eye on my kindle.

I could of really worked on this a bit more, but was rushed to give her a drawing.

I recently finished the piece for a school assignment that we had to morph two animals together.
