The candidate known as "Deez Nuts" is a 15 year old child. He can't be president since you have to be 35 years or older to become president. And this isn't even the election, it's just to get your name on the ballet. Which he can't do.

But I would totally vote for him over Obama or Trump.

"Dear reader, I hope this email finds you before I do."
Hillary is a woman, Bernie is a jew and Jeb only has his family name going for him.

Joking aside, your best bet is probably Sanders if you want to catch up to 21st century "modern" nations (my country is a shithole and we have these). Having a proper social net and free healthcare is a nice thing to have and not a waste of money. You could probably afford all that by cutting back a little on the military, or taxing the rich which I don't think he'd be afraid of pushing for.
Although looking at European interest, Trump would probably be better. He seems more likely to go and restore order to the middle east. Install a few new Husseins to keep the savages in check and we won't have to fence off our borders.

You'd probably find a few new Husseins wouldn't be at all in the Europeans interest... or is that the joke?

Totally not in the general Middle Easts best interests either.

Actually, removing or undermining those brutal dictators (like Hussein or Assad) caused all the bloodshed we see today. That same bloodshed everybody is running from... towards Europe.
Killing Gaddafi in Libya removed a big chunk of the Northern African barrier that kept the masses from running. Stabilizing the region would take another ground war, and then installing new dictators to keep the ISIS stuff from repeating itself.
So yeah, thanks USA. Let's hope whoever comes to it's helm next will try to fix this mess.

So, your strategy for peace in the Middle East is to do what we've been doing since the breakup of the Ottoman Empire and just clamp down on dissent?

Dissent is a symptom of people being unhappy with their government. When developing long-term solutions, we need to think about dealing with the disease itself (people unhappy with their govt), rather than the symptoms of the disease.

So why are people so unhappy with their govt? Mainly because their govt doesn't represent them. In several key Middle Eastern states (such as Iraq) a minority religious group is in charge over a majority group. It's this way because after WW1, the West carved up the former Ottoman Empire, deciding which great power got control of which areas. They didn't create the borders of the Middle East by looking at which ethnic group lived in which area and by giving each their own nation, but decided it by lumping together all sorts of people because the combined land they lived in was seen as more bountiful. The borders of the Middle East that we created after WW1 don't reflect how the border would be were the people of the Middle East given a say in the matter.

After we carved up the borders, we eventually decided that colonialism was a bit old-world, so we decolonialised the Middle East. We left them with dictators that would support the interests of the West and oppress their people with iron fists so that the beneficial partnership the West set up with them would continue. You're proposing that we regress 70 years and do this again.

The borders of the Middle East need to readjust back to their natural frontiers. This can happen through war between the Middle Eastern nations/NSAs or perhaps through some big endogenic political summit. Whichever way it happens, the West should not be involved in it. Us perpetuating the unnatural borders we established for our own gain will never bring the Middle East peace. The very best thing we can do is cease all military involvement.

Basically, yes. It's better than having an openly hostile ISIS controlling most of the Middle East. Disturbing the hornet's nest achieved nothing but civil war and a hostile force emerging.

ISIS is well equipped and has a significant amount of manpower. Unless you'd like to see a new Caliphate emerging, there needs to be an intervention. You forget that the West created this situation, ISIS is hostile towards the west and if we ever let them solidify their position, we'll have daily suicide bombings on our hands. Stuff has nothing to do with being unhappy with your government at the moment, these guys want to build an empire.

Restoring the natural borders is a good idea, but forcibly balkanizing the remnants of Iraq along ethnic lines is also plausible.

Clinton will be 69 before election day in 2016 and many opponents have emphasised this, noting that Democrats used age against John McCain and Ronald Reagan in their campaigns. Non-partisan commentators have raised the issues of Clinton’s age and health, speculating that if she eventually decides not to run, this would be the reason.

She's a feminist This is a point that has been made on and off since the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Many believe that in defending her husband and particular for criticising Lewinsky, Clinton revealed herself to be a bad feminist. This attack was revived in 2012 when it was revealed that some years ago a female Democratic senator, Claire McCaskill, had said of Bill Clinton in 2006: "I think he's been a great leader but I don't want my daughter near him." This attack has already been revived this week after the revelations about the Clinton’s defence of the accused rapist.

And FYI There's nothing wrong with Donald Trump being racist...It won't do anything but to his opinions A president doesn't have much power compared to the other branches... so he couldn't do anything other than say stuff that's racist or implied as racism.

Let the Middle East sort out its own problems. Part of the reason a lot of people initially joined ISIS's campaign was because they were Sunnis sick of being discriminated against by the Shia majority in Iraq. Why are they discriminated against? Because of the demographics of their country. What created those demographics? Us, after WW1.

The Middle East is so sick of the West intervening in their development and free-determination. After 9/11, Osama told the West that this happened because we were in their shit. Us continuing to be in their shit only perpetuates the hostility and conditions that created the mess of a Middle East that we have today.

As I said before, the readjusting of the borders could be done by diplomatic efforts or by war. ISIS creating their Caliphate is an example of the war method. ISIS creating their own state is in response to the current unnatural borders. These unnatural borders were only made possible because of Western intervention in the Middle East. Imagine the Middle East as pressure cooker. Over time, the perpetuation of the unnatural borders causes the instability, the pressure, to gradually build up. Now the pressure has passed the limit, the pressure cooker explodes, and ISIS and their Caliphate pop out.

Long term, this a good thing. It's the Middle East landing from decolonialisation. Admittedly with ISIS, it's quite a hard landing. But it has to happen. The West shouldn't continue to try to stop these decolonialisation efforts. We shouldn't stuff everything back into a new pressure cooker and just wait for it to explode again. The path forward is non-intervention, the path backwards is to continue to do what we've been doing.

I sincerely hope I do not need to explain the sarcasm in this paragraph.

Second, the worst that can happen because of the U.S. not paying back it's debts is the U.S. dollar tanking and causing a global depression because of it's status as a market standard currency causing a lot of people to suddenly lose a lot of wealth. There is no magic disappearance of civil liberties, we do not magically become assimilated in to China, the economy just crashes and everybody scrambles to not lose the shirt on their back. The only way you will magically lose your rights is if we were invaded, which will not happen, or you let somebody take them away from you, which is what you are advocating for disadvantaged groups. Which I have already replied to with sarcasm and snark because of the one dimensional approach you take to political action.

Hahahahaha xDDD
