i mentioned locking down arms in a previous post. in the first replay i make use of dominant grabs to finish a throw. the second replay shows a hand pin. i mostly use hand pins to try and ball up my opponent immobilize a limb for a turn or at the very least disrupt the ghost. once you have secured a hand pin you are one step ahead of the game. you know they either have to let go or leave grab there adding more stress to the body. if its a self grab you know you can ungrab and be safe from a regrab. see 4th replay. also you can pass off grabs to the other hand. see third reaply
does anyone employ the use of grab tricks? if so what ones?
TLDR: grab tricks are fun. learn them early.
You're right. I never think about but i use these little tricks also. There's nothing cheap about it in my opinion.

Yes exactly. Keep practicing on uke, I noticed your feet are very distance from Uke's which is why your throw looks a little weird. Try getting closer like in my examples. When you get something similar to mine, post it and we'll go from there.
Also dont use that size 5 font its obnoxious.

I got this hip throw earlier, sort of like an uchi mata. Also, I would like for us to work on sweeps along with hip throws.
I like the low throws they're always a finisher.
